Meet Victoria👋

This week we are chatting to Victoria - a local Tunbridge Wells mum who loves paper and creates the most magnificent things out of it. Victoria shares her favourite places around town and the little things that help make mum life easier. Read on...
Introduce yourself
Hi I'm Victoria mum to 3 teen boys aged 14, 16 and 18. I have grown up and lived in Tunbridge Wells most of my life and absolutely love where I live. I have always been artistic and creative although this took a pause while my children were young. Since they have grown older I have started to find myself and my creative passions have been reignited and I created @bumbleandbloomcrafts to share my passion.
Favourite local business and why?
One of my many favourite local businesses is The Earl Grey Tearooms in Southborough. They have some of the best cake and light lunches around, the staff are always so happy and helpful.
Favourite hidden gem in Tunbridge Wells
My favourite hidden gem would be Arty Farty Retreat. Not only providing a creative space for all, holiday clubs for children and a space to express yourself. Being creative in whatever way is needed more than ever in todays climate to help with mental health. Now that we are loosing Adult Education facilities this sort of creative space is a must.
What’s your guilty pleasure?
Cake and chocolate simple and easy, I love cake and would eat it for every meal if I could.
Best mum hack
Ikea blue bags, amazing for everything, food shop, laundry bags, sorting charity bits and lining the boot of the car. I couldn't be without an Ikea bag or 3.
