This one’s firmly on the watch list for us in Tunbridge Wells…

THE PIG-at Groombridge sits just down the road in Groombridge — a stunning moated manor house built in 1662 by Philip Packer, with links to Christopher Wren. Even better, the moat itself dates back to the 13th century.

Right now, there’s no development yet — it’s very early stages and plans are still being worked through — but the vision is classic PIG: countryside rooms with views over the moat, gardens and a revived vineyard.

The vineyard’s already had some attention after years of being neglected, so it’s a proper fresh start there too.

No bookings, no timelines… just one to keep a close eye on.

Who's excited to get our own PIG? 🐷
