Café Lounge is opening in Tunbridge Wells

A new brunch spot is heading to Tunbridge Wells—and it’s one locals will recognise.

Café Lounge, which claims to be Kent’s No.1 destination for brunch and breakfast, is opening its third site at 94 Mount Pleasant Rd, Tunbridge Wells TN1 1RT, taking over the former Italian shop.

If their Rochester café is anything to go by, expect queues—especially at weekends. It’s a popular spot known for its Instagram-worthy interiors and loyal brunch crowd, with another branch already open in Meopham.

On the menu, you’ll find everything from matcha, protein shakes and fresh fruit to pastries, maple syrup pancakes and tiramisu. There’s also cocktails, beers and wines if you’re making a proper outing of it.
