The Pantiles is for sale! 👀

One of the most iconic parts of our town has officially been put up for sale - and it’s only the second time in around 250 years that it’s changed hands.

The sale includes:

🏛️The historic Georgian Pantiles arcade

🍝25 shops and restaurant units, plus workspaces and flats

🌳More than 250 acres of land, including Tunbridge Wells and Rusthall Commons

👑The Lord of the Manor of Rusthall title, dating back to 1268  

🏠Potential to refurbish up to 28 flats

The Commons had already been put up for sale earlier this year and now they are part of this much bigger sale.

The Pantiles isn’t just another bit of property in Tunbridge Wells. It’s markets, summer evenings, Live at The Pantiles, coffees, dinners, events, wandering around with the kids… it’s a massive part of our town.

Apparently it’s expected to welcome around two million visitors in 2026.

So obviously there’s one very big question…

WHO is going to buy The Pantiles?! 👀
