A little local update about the Tunbridge Wells & Rusthall Commons

Many people don’t realise that the Commons are actually privately owned and currently up for sale. With a 25 March deadline approaching, a local group — Friends of The Commons — is working on a bid to bring the land into community ownership and help protect it for the future.
To raise awareness, there will be a Public Assembly and March on Saturday 21st March.

It’s a family-friendly event and open to anyone who cares about this special space in our town.
The Commons are such a big part of life here — from weekend walks and dog runs to kids climbing the rocks — so it’s nice to see the community coming together around something many of us love.
