Spend a full day in Tunbridge Wells (with lunch!) for under a tenner… you’ll want to save this.

First stop: Frog Lane (TN1 1YT) — a hidden little gem just off the High Street (just before PizzaExpress) where 50+ tiny frog and toad statues are scattered everywhere, from tucked-away corners to up high, turning a simple walk into a full-on treasure hunt for the kids.

Next up: The Grove Park (TN1 1SD) — playground, loads of space to run around, and one of those parks where the kids just naturally burn off energy while you get a minute (ish).

Then head over to The Amelia Scott — one of the best free spots in town. Downstairs is the library (a little breather), and upstairs you’ve got fossils, dinosaur bones, and loads to explore. You can easily lose a couple of hours here without spending a penny.

Once everyone’s starving, walk over to The Bagel Bistro (TN1 2RA) — bagels from £4.95 and I physically cannot go there without getting the salt beef one (it’s a problem ). Their kids’ meal deal is £4.69, so you’re still well within budget.

There it is — a full day out, including lunch, for under a tenner.

Save this for later & send it to a Tunbridge Wells parent… because the summer holidays are coming and survival is vital.
