From turning newborn moments into timeless keepsakes, Soul Print Casting Co was born from a passion for creativity and capturing family milestones in a unique way. What started as an add-on to Lullaby Photography UK has grown into Kent’s only provider of pregnancy sculptures, proving that taking a chance on a new idea can lead to incredible opportunities.

Tell us about your journey from the business idea to launching the business. 

Originally my idea to start lifecasting was to use it as an add-on for my newborn photography business (@lullabyphotographyuk), but as demand grew and grew I decided to split it into its own business - Soul Print Casting Co. Alongside turning family milestones into pieces of art, I am now offering Pregnancy Sculptures and I am a memorial caster for Kent based charity @making_miracles_charity.

What's been your biggest achievement since starting your business?

I am currently the only business in Kent offering pregnancy sculptures! I completely self-taught myself how to create them so I feel like it has been a huge achievement.

What inspired you to start the business? My newborn photography clients were also getting casts made by a separate business, and I thought if I could tap into that skill I could offer both under one roof. Turns out I had the knack for it, and after professional training I started offering it and it really took off.

What does the future look like? I am exhibiting at The Baby Show Excel London in March which will be the biggest event of my career so far which is very exciting.

Don't be afraid to try something new, you never know what possibilities it could lead to.
