Founded by two inspiring women in business, Sarah and Charlotte, the Small Business Supper Club grew from a simple idea and a shared belief in taking action rather than waiting for the perfect moment. Within just a few weeks of discussing their vision, they created a welcoming community where small business owners can connect, collaborate, and enjoy meaningful conversations around great food and a beautifully curated table.
Tell us about your journey from the business idea to launching the business.
The Small Business Supper Club started from a simple idea and a shared mindset of “let’s just give it a go.” Charlotte and I are both very much the type of people who believe in getting on with things rather than overthinking them.
We had the idea, met for lunch to talk it through, and launched our very first event within a couple of weeks. There wasn’t a long planning phase, just a clear vision to create a relaxed, welcoming space where small business owners could connect around a beautifully set table and good food.
What's been your biggest achievement since starting your business?
Knowing that the Supper Club has created a space where people feel supported, inspired and connected in their business journey is something we're really proud of. We love that we have people that come back time and again. Plus new attendees at every event
What inspired you to start the business?
The Supper Club was inspired by the idea that when we bring people together around a table, share stories and experiences, and create space for honest conversations, something really powerful happens. It becomes less about networking and more about genuine connection and community.
What does the future look like?
The future is all about continuing to grow the community while staying true to the heart of what the Supper Club is all about, intimate gatherings, inspiring conversations and meaningful connections through food and drink led events.
What message would you like to send to our community of small business owners?
Remember that you don’t have to do this alone. Building a business can be challenging, but surrounding yourself with supportive people who understand the journey makes all the difference.
