The Tunbridge Wells Mummy's Top 3 Halloween Picks 👻

Halloween is creeping up, and if you're wondering how on earth you're going to keep the kids entertained over October half term, I've got you covered!

From treetop adventures and spooky treasure hunts to pumpkin picking and Halloween activities after dark, there are some brilliant things happening in and around Kent this year.

And because I know not everyone wants to spend another afternoon wandering around a pumpkin patch (although I do love a good pumpkin patch!), I've picked three very different Halloween experiences for 2026.

Here are The Tunbridge Wells Mummy's Top 3 Halloween Family Days Out.

🎃Go Ape Bedgebury - A Halloween Adventure in the Trees 🎃

 Location: Bedgebury, Kent

 Dates: 24th October - 1st November 2026

Booking: Add Potion Hunt for £5 per person on their Treetop Adventure and Treetop Adventure Plus experiences. BOOK HERE

Who said Halloween has to be all about pumpkin patches?!

If your children prefer adventure to anything too spooky, Go Ape Bedgebury is bringing something a little different to October half term this year.

And I'm here for it!

This Halloween, the kids can head into the trees for an adventure involving obstacles, zip lines, spooky clues and a mysterious potion recipe!

The mission?

Young explorers will need to tackle the course, hunt for clues hidden amongst the trees and uncover the ingredients needed to crack the secret potion recipe.

And because no adventure is complete without a little bribery, there's an exclusive Halloween medal AND sweets up for grabs!

It's a brilliant way to get the kids outdoors, away from their screens and working together on something a little different.

What to expect:

✨Treetop obstacles and zip lines

✨ Halloween-themed clues and challenges

✨A secret potion recipe to uncover

✨ An exclusive Halloween medal and sweet treats

✨ Plenty of fresh air and family adventure!

Advance booking is recommended. Check the available courses and age or height requirements before booking and BOOK your experience here!

🎃Tulleys Pumpkin Festival - The Ultimate Pumpkin Experience 🎃

Location: Tulleys Farm, Turners Hill, West Sussex

Dates: Selected dates throughout October 2026

If you're going pumpkin picking, you might as well go BIG!

Now, technically Tulleys is just over the border in West Sussex, but it's well worth including in a roundup of Halloween days out near Kent.

If you love everything autumn, pumpkins and Halloween, this is one to add to your list.

Tulleys is known for going all out when it comes to pumpkin season.

We're talking pumpkins EVERYWHERE, beautiful autumn displays, entertainment, food and enough photo opportunities to fill your camera roll until Christmas!

It's the sort of place where you arrive planning to pick one pumpkin and leave wondering how you're going to fit them all in the car.

For those who fancy something a little different, Tulleys also offers Pumpkin Nights, giving visitors the chance to experience the pumpkin fields after dark.

What to expect:

✨Pumpkin picking

✨ Autumn-themed displays and photo opportunities

✨ Food and refreshments

✨ Entertainment and seasonal activities

✨ Pumpkin Nights on selected dates

🎃St. Andrews Lakes - Halloween After Dark🎃

Location: St Andrews Lakes, Halling, Kent

 Dates: 29th October – 1st November 2026

Now THIS is Halloween with a difference!

If pumpkin picking isn't really your thing, how about something a little more adventurous?

St Andrews Lakes is bringing Halloween fun to the lakes, with a selection of outdoor activities for those who prefer thrills over traditional Halloween celebrations.

And we're not just talking about a gentle stroll around the lake!

Think climbing, archery, axe throwing and flying through the darkness on a zip wire!

For the really brave, there's even a spooky paddle and swim planned for 30th October.

Personally, I think getting into a lake at the end of October is terrifying enough without adding Halloween into the mix!

What to expect:

✨ Halloween-themed outdoor adventures

✨ Zip lining

✨ Climbing

✨ Archery and axe throwing

✨ A spooky paddle and swim experience

Which Halloween Adventure Will You Choose?

There you have it! Three very different Halloween days out in and around Kent for October half term 2026.

Whether your family loves climbing through the trees, picking the perfect pumpkin or trying something a little more adventurous, there's something here to get everyone into the Halloween spirit.

My top three Halloween picks for 2026:

Go Ape Bedgebury – Best for treetop adventures and Halloween challenges.

Tulleys Pumpkin Festival – Best for pumpkin picking and autumn family fun.

St Andrews Lakes – Best for adventurous Halloween activities.
