Founded during the pandemic, TN Sales and Lettings was built on a passion for providing a fair, ethical and personal property service to the Tunbridge Wells community. From humble beginnings, the business has grown through its commitment to exceptional service, a strong local reputation and the belief that doing the right thing for people should always come first.

Tell us about your journey from the business idea to launching the business. 

Well TN Lettings was born through covid so I had the luxury of being at home and being able to spend time exploring the viability, the best way to set the business up and putting in lots of training and gain qualifications to be ready as we step out of the pandemic and being able to launch out to the people of Tunbridge Wells.

What's been your biggest achievement since starting your business?

The thing I am most proud of with TN Lettings and now TN Sales and Lettings is the reputation we have built at being brilliant at what we do and I don’t say that with a big head but its something we work really hard on as service is everything.  Along side that though was this was a business that allowed me to still be a mummy and take my 2 boys to school and pick them up and that’s something that happens and something I hope they will remember.

What inspired you to start the business?

TN Lettings came about from a terrible experience with a letting agent based in London through Covid who unfortunately charged us a lot of money in fees but the tenants on the tenancy agreement did not live in the property and it was just a terrible time, I was at home with my 2 boys and then with lockdown we all ended up at home and this was my little project to look at starting a fair, ethical, good rooted lettings company that was there to do the right thing by others and the rest well that’s history.

What does the future look like?

The future is now TN Sales and Lettings, we now have 3 members of staff and we are growing but only slowly as service has to be everything.  We are still growing the sales side of things in what is a very tough market and we are going to come out the other side with the big players.

What message would you like to send to our community of small business owners?

Running your own business is hard and its lonely as we all go through ups and downs so my message is talk to other small businesses, take the time to have a coffee and offload as we all need it sometimes and remember your amazing,  you are running your own business ,  Wouldn’t the easy option be not to even try.  A big pat on the back to all business owners right now!
